Silence’s running me by,

Distortion, disruption, dismay:

I raise my hands towards the nothingness

… And wished for it to stay.

Droplets of noise,

Breathless walls with painful claws…

I feel them reaching out,

Encapsulating the last breath of my memories.

And… Gone.
