Another forthcoming megathrust-earthquake threatens The Queen Charlotte Islands. Pacific and North American tectonic plates are sliding along each other obliquely. Stress and strain are threatening large colonies of red sea urchins hiding in crevasses of the Epipelagic Zone along the coast.
